Supply Chain Automation

Supply ChainInformation Technology has been a key enabler in improving supply chain efficiency. The more integrated and automated the individual components of a supply chain solution are the more efficient the process becomes.

Major advancements in recent years have been the implementation of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Supply Chain Management Systems (SCM), Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Global Data Synchronization (GDS) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). All of which are underpinned by the world’s most institutionalized global standard – the barcode. This simple, yet effective standard is now the foundation of the supply chain process which allows items to be uniquely catalogued so they can be identified and tracked through the value chain.

LANSA’s customers have been using LANSA to integrate their disparate systems to streamline supply chain processes, eliminate errors and comply with global standards, for almost two decades.

LANSA also has a portfolio of industry vertical offerings that allows rapid implementation of Application-to-Application (A2A) messages or transactions between you and your trading partners. These solutions are either packaged as ready-to-run templates or frameworks addressing Business-to-Business (B2B) initiatives such as supply-side and demand-side automation, AS2, GDSN and EDI compliance.
